I attended Oakland City College, went on to Chico State, and became a nurse. In the subsequent years I was most deeply impressed and learned from those patients who were at the end of their life.
I eventually moved to Shreveport, LA which was a deepening heart and eye opening time for me, and I evolved into being a hospice RN, which I have been for the last 30 years. For the last 25 years I have delighted in living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have my own private practice as an end-of-life coach and patient care advocate.
I also wrote an award winning book "Dying A Natural Passage" which I self-published and is in it's 3rd printing. The most common comment on my book, before, during, and after the loss of a beloved is "I wish I had known this when...." I have been honored to support many of our class members as they have dealt with the loss of loved ones.
