Jack Morrison died suddenly of a massive heart attack on June 9, 1998, while working in his office at home in Eureka. Alan Hayes emailed me several days later and I wrote to his wife Suki to express my sorrow. Jack had been a good friend during our years at Piedmont, and I greatly respected his keen intellect.

His wife Suki describes him best, "He was such a great man, with a brilliant mind, a terrific sense of humor, and a kind and caring heart."

Jack is survived by his wife of 26 years, Suzanne (Suki) Lion Morrison, a son Colin (20), attending Humboldt State University, and a daughter Beth (18), attending George Washington University. We will all miss Jack and our hearts go out to his family.
