Gwen S. McKenney, 61, of Pollard passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born June 7, 1949, in Pollard and was the daughter of the late W.V. Vaughter and Gladys Robbins Irwin.

She was united in marriage to Gary McKenney on June 1, 1996.

Gwen was a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church. She taught English for 32 years in the Piggott School District. After her retirement she and her husband managed their farm.
