DelVecchio, Alan A of Vineland, NJ passed away on January 8, 2021. He is the beloved husband of Patricia DelVecchio; loving father of Honey DelVecchio, Dina DelVecchio, and Tom (Liz) Wallace. He is also survived by his siblings, Frank DelVecchio, Carol (Ron) Deak, Tina Ribeiro, Donna King, Gina Ribeiro, Maria (Michael) Villa, and Jack Ribeiro (deceased); his step-children, Lisa Blair and Kelly Cossaboon. Alan had 6 grandchildren, Madison, Jayden, Christopher, Dylan, Vicente, and Troy; many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly and his dear, best friends, John and Bernadette MaGuire. Alan was born December 29, 1950 in Camden, NJ to Christina and Frank DelVecchio. He was raised by his mother, Christina and her husband Jack Ribeiro and was a graduate of Overbrook Regional High School. He worked at ShopRite as a frozen food department manager for over 30 years, where he developed many lifelong friendships. Alan was an avid sports fan who loved the Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Philadelphia Phillies. He also liked to frequent the casino, especially the Borgata in Atlantic City. Alan was an amazing father and husband who loved his family dearly and lived life to the fullest. He was always energetic, optimistic, and joking around. His smile lit up the room whenever he walked in. Alan was loved by many and will be missed by all. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 4pm to 6pm with funeral services at 5:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland NJ 08361. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
