William Hames (1969)

I met Gus when his family moved to Pine Hill as the Pine Dell and Pine Valley Estates opened and started to fill up. We attended high school together from 7th grade on at the old bldg. on the pike. He was an excellent drummer. Together with Ray Laurella & Bruce Mulford we formed our very first band...The Mod Quad. Our one and only concert was at the John  Glen school...then a new building, for the pre-pubescent teens. We thought we were pretty good! The last time I saw him was graduation day. I've thought about him often and was crushed at the news of his death. I was looking for him right up till earlier this year hoping we could play together again...alas, not to be. But one of these days we'll play again...I promise Buddy! God, I loved this guy!

Doug Taylor (1969)

Remember mostly from German Class ( Mr. Webb) and how he figured out out how to curse in German.  From what I remember he was a favorite of Webb's only because of his first name.  Good times  remembered
