Rest in Peace, Barbara                                 

December 4, 1951 - July 25, 2022

Barbara Frances Krol, 70, of Marlton, NJ, passed away on Monday July 25, 2022. She was born in Philadelphia. Barb devoted her life to being an amazing mother to her four boys, and Mimi to her eight grandchildren. Her BIG dogs were always a part of her family. A Newfoundland, Golden, Bull Mastiff or Cane Corso was almost always by her side. Strengthening her family and building the community around her was her passion. She taught Catholic education, now known as the Prep program at St. Mary of the Lakes, preparing youth for the Catholic Sacraments. She served as the president of the Home and School Association in the Medford School District, where she was most proud of her involvement in construction and dedication of the Matthew R. Weiner Memorial Track. She loved the summer swimming league and watching her sons compete for the Deer Brook Bluefish. She served as the Chairwoman of the Board for Deer Brook Swim Club and the Tri-County Swim League. As a sports Mom her fiery cheers could be heard above all others across the pool, wrestling mat, and sports field.
In life she fought with a stubborn strength to live every moment to its best, with the friends and family she loved so dear. She tackled her diagnosis with everything she had and left no stone unturned in a search for a cure. In the end, she fought relentlessly to get better so she could live her life to the fullest extent with those closest to her. She said it best, "Always find time for the things that make you happy to be alive." If you find yourself at 19th Street on the Ocean City, NJ Boardwalk these words are memorialized on her bench. Come sit with her, she always appreciated the company.

She was predeceased by her parents Edward Krol and Sara Rees She leaves behind 4 sons and 3 daughters-in-law, John A Saia, Jr. and his wife Shannon M. Saia. Bryan E. Saia and his wife Claudia R. Saia,. Robert F. Saia and his wife Sandra M. Saia and Sean M Saia and his Fiancé Rachel A. Morales, grandchildren Noah A. Lobaugh, Nicholas A. Saia, John A. Saia, Hudson J. Saia, Sophia R. Saia, Isabelle M. Saia, Emelia J Saia, & Esme V. Saia

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a memorial visitation on Wednesday August 3, 2022 from 10 to Noon at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, Medford, and a funeral mass will begin at Noon.
