Lenny B. Ferrara, Jr. Scholarship Fund –
Dear Parishioners & Friends:

After 18 months of waiting for the "Gift of Life" (a heart and a liver), my brother's heart gave out and he died on Nov. 23rd. Please pray for my brother: LEONARD B. FERRARA, JR.

"Do you believe that I Am the Resurrection and the Life?"
"Yes, Lord, we do…"

My Mom, sisters and brothers are asking that you inform your parishes regarding organ and tissue donations. The "Gift of Life" program is an extremely important program for all those who need transplants and need this special donation to continue their life.

My Mom, sisters and brother want to setup a "Lenny B. Ferrara, Jr. Scholarship Fund" for OLMC/SAA Elementary School. The obit in the newspaper has a fund for his wife's family… we would like donations to come directly to the Parish Office in care of Lenny (178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009) to Rosa McDermott, finance manager and school bookkeeper. This scholarship fund will go to a family who desires a Catholic education and need the funding. Please spread the word…

May the Lord who has begun this great work, bring it to completion… I thank you for all the prayers and thoughts that many of you are sending me and my family!

In Jesus' Name,
Fr. Joe

I talked to Lenny last year and he was doing well. He had a positive outlook and he was having fun. He was an avid sports fan (especially the Eagles).....he enjoyed his Yamaha....and he was a skilled pool player. He also enjoyed going to the movies and he loved "Doo Wop" music. I will forever remember him, as the cutie pie who went "steady" with one of my best friends, Judie Steelman. On Classmates.com, he wrote that Judie, was his first love. He had many special memories of their time together. How special for Judie, to have that sentiment, from him. I thought Lenny was a tough guy on the outside...but a marshmallow, inside.
He marched to a different drummer....but he was a good guy...and I will miss him.
