DORELL, WILLIAM

Bill passed away in May, of 2005.
Survived by ex-wife Susan (nee Sproul), children Sherry, William and George. Brother of Barbara Caromano and Robert Dorell.

Bill was a Vietnam Veteran.

He loved to fish and hunt. He also enjoyed hunting for old bottles.

A funny story as told by his brother Bob....."I was 9 years old and had a small fish tank. Bill was 7 years old and ever...the fisherman. One day, I came home to find that my fish were missing. Bill finally admitted that he had used them for...bait. We lived on Clementon Lake."

Bill was the youngest of 3 children. He was very well liked and quite a good looking guy. He was kind and would do anything, for anyone. He was a good man.

Bill is much loved by his family and they miss him every day. But they know he is now in a better place and in the hands of the good Lord.

I met Bill when I was 13 and he was 17. He was dating Lynda Steelman,(65)the sister of my friend, Judie. (69) Lynda was not thrilled (Ha Ha)...but one day, Bill was kind enough to allow me and Judie to tag along, on a lunch date...to The Golden Pointe. Bill bought all of us burgers and fries. He patiently put up with our giggling in the back seat, throughout the entire lunch (much to Lynda's irritation.) Besides being dreamy...he was kind and sweet. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

Bill and I became very close friends while in High School. I must admit it is a big toss up between who had the prettiest eyes though. Bob, his brother, Billy or Me...I dated his older brother Bob until he joined the Navy. He was my very first boy friend. I was still in HS at the time. Billy as I used to call him was the sweetest, kindest and most humble person you could ever know. I wish everyone could have seen the side of him I had the pleasure of for many years until he went into the service. That was a sad day for me because I was just so afraid. His brother Bob is as good looking, funny and witty as Billy was. Billy had a heart of gold just like his brother Bob has. Very compassionate and a great sense of humor. I will never forget our long talks and many stories and laughs we enjoyed together. Billy will always be in my prayers and now he is with our Lord enjoying everlasting peace for an eternity.
Love you Billy...........Blue Eyes!!!!

I was in Billy's class (65), and he was a great guy, very easy going and would do anything for anyone.
I remember one time at the Golden Point when I was out numbered by a few boy's from Berlin and Billy jumped out and watched my back. We sent the Berlin boy's home with their tail's between their legs.
I fished with Bill a few times at his house on Clementon lake, he loved to fish.
So sorry to hear of his passing, I'm sure he is missed by many.
God bless you Bill.
