James, I to am a victim of A O. I completed 3 tours of duty in Vietnam Nam and most likely returning from Vietnam Nam you received the home coming we never would have expected. Having kept to myself I really didn't know you in school but to your family and friends I will tell them what I do know about you. You are and always will be a Vietnam Nam Veteran. You eventually lost your life having defended the United States of America. To me and your family you are and will always be an American War Hero! I suppose you wouldn't accept that description but in my eyes you are. God will never let you die. He will ensure your Spirit comforts your family in their grief and healing. Love you brother--God Bless

Sorry to hear of another classmate passing. Seems Vietnam has claimed another American Hero. Wasn’t very close to anyone back then....in my own little world. I was a combat medic and then a Clinical Specialist....lucky to have served my 3yrs at Landstuhl Army Medical Center. Vietnam Vets never got their parade but all us that served at that time consider them all Heroes bless them all
