Rest In Peace, Diane
September 20, 1947-July 15, 2024
Diane Marie Angel, age 76 of Davie, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 in Aventura Hospital.
Diane was born in Darby, Pennsylvania to Nathan and Jean Stage on September 20, 1947. She graduated from Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, NJ in 1965. Diane married her high school sweetheart, Peter Wendel Angel, on October 28, 1967 at St. Lawrence Church in Lindenwold, NJ. She worked as a bookkeeper for Sunset South and Broward Homebound before Peter and Diane started their own company, Marine Diesel Specialists, in 1995. For the first six years, she was not only the bookkeeper, but the entire office staff. She partially retired in 2019, but always kept a watchful eye on the books and on her successor, her daughter, Gina.
She was bright, hard-working and meticulous, but her family and her friends were her true passion. Diane loved to cook and to host parties. She cherished watching her loved ones enjoy themselves and delight in her warmth and hospitality. She was funny and thoughtful. She loved to laugh and to make others happy.
