Rev. Leonard DeSipio - Class Of 1965

Rev. Leonard P. DeSipio, 63, Bradenton, was taken into the arms of his Savior on June 3, 2010. Rev. DeSipio was born on April 26, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA. He was ordained in the ministry in 1973 in New Jersey and has been a resident of Bradenton for the last 25 years. Locally he served as the Pastor of the Upper Room and the Victory Tabernacle. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Edwina ''Winnie' DeSipio of Bradenton, three daughters; Michele Pannell of Bradenton, Maureen Rice of Dunedin, Fl., Rochelle (Robert) Seabolt of Bradenton, brother, Louis of Las Vegas, Nevada, and eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 1-2 p.m. in the Sanctuary of the First Church of the Nazarene in Bradenton with a Celebration of His Life Service to follow. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Corpus Christi Seminary, 855 State Street, New Haven, CT, 06511 in his memory.
