Rest In Peace, Linda.
Linda Jeanne Colangelo (née Johnson), 78, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, in The Villages, Florida. Born on October 7, 1946, Linda grew up in Lindenwold, New Jersey, and graduated from Overbrook Regional High School in 1965.
A dedicated businesswoman for over five decades, Linda built a successful career as a business owner in both the Tampa, Florida area and Atco, New Jersey. Her entrepreneurial spirit was matched by her generous heart and love for bringing people together. She found joy in cooking and entertaining, creating countless cherished memories with family and friends.
Linda’s greatest pride was her family. She shared a loving marriage of 59 years with her husband, Anthony. Together, they raised two children: Susan Ambroziak (Chris) and Anthony Colangelo Jr. (Kim), who blessed her with two beloved grandchildren, Sophia Ambroziak and Anthony Colangelo. Linda also leaves behind her sister, Judith Harch (Christian). Linda was predeceased by her parents, Hubert Johnson and Irene Ammann.
Her garden was a sanctuary where she enjoyed watching the birds and butterflies. Above all else, Linda treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought great joy to her life.
A memorial service will be held on February 22nd at 11 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Linda’s memory.
Linda Jeanne Colangelo will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched.
