William Joseph "Bill" Magee
January 14, 1946 - April 24, 2021
MAGEE, William “Bill” Jr. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 24, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia, PA., lived in New Jersey and lived in Alabama since 1968. William served his country in the USAF, worked in the Montgomery Fire Department for 13 years then retired from Civil Service Fire Department at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Bill was a humorous, sweet spirited true believer in his Savior Jesus and deeply loved his family, wife Jennifer “Jenny”; son Billy (Dawne); daughter Christy Darden. He adored his grandchildren Kelsey Landers, Trent Darden, Addison Darden, Kaitlin (Case) Grant, and Kammie Grimes; and his nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Santuck Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Santuck Baptist Church, 7250 Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, Alabama 36092 or Ivy Creek Hospice, 500 Hospital Drive, Wetumpka, Alabama 36092.
