Rest in Peace, Gary               

April 16, 1948  -  December 31, 2022

On December 31, 2022, Gary G. Carey, age 74 of Clementon.  Beloved son of the late Orville and Nancy (nee Valerio) Carey. Survived by his sister Sandy (Tom) Tahaney of Marlton; nieces Kristen Tahaney (Bill Jezior) of Magnolia and Jenifer (Jason) Repsher of Marlton; great-niece Lily Nancy Repsher; cousins; godchildren; and many other extended family and friends. Gary worked as a teacher’s aide for the Regional Day School in Winslow, and was beloved by his colleagues and students. He further assisted his students as a job coach, preparing them for adulthood. He enjoyed spending most of his free time at Virtua Wellness Center Gym, and at Bally’s previously. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday evening 6-8pm and Saturday morning 9:30-10:15am at the: ORA L. WOOSTER FUNERAL HOME, 51 Park Blvd., Clementon, NJ 08021. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday morning 11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish-St. Lawrence Campus, 135 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold, NJ 08021. Because of his successful kidney transplant 23 years ago, in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in honor of Gary to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19123 (checks payable to “Transplant Foundation”).
