William Hames (1969)

I knew the Kassner brothers early on as I used to hitch a ride in front of their house up to Pine Hill (like everyone else did) would sit on the wall if there was more than one of us. That was before they tore Clementon down and reconfigured the Erial road turn into a different manner of crossing. I was in Ed's class of 1969. Many years later when working for the cable tv company  (South Jersey Cablevision) we would run local commercials on ch.2 for businesses in the area. As Franklinville was in our area, Bill had us run a commercial of an invention he made which was a "squirrel proof" attachment for your bird feeder to keep those pesky squirrels from eating all the seed. Saw him doing the commercial himself on TV and was completely happy for that memory! If anyone ever reads this, and Ed is still with us, please tell him that Bill Hames says Hi!
