Roy Bass - Class Of 1966

                                                    Rest in Peace, Roy

Of Pitman died suddenly on September 30 2004. Age 57 years.
Mr. Bass was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. Before retiring in June Mr. Bass was a psychiatric aide at Camden County Health Service Center in Blackwood for over 38 years. He was a member of the AFSCME Union as well as the CCREA. In his spare time he enjoyed playing the slots at the Showboat casino shopping and traveling. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his grandson and best buddy Jacob as well as with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a very gentle and kind gentleman whose love and generosity will be missed by all those whose lives he has touched.
Beloved husband for 29 years of Catherine C. (nee Cunningham). Devoted father of Cathleen Bernard and C. Joseph Bass both of Pitman. Loving grandfather of Jacob Bernard. Dear brother of Dorothy Wheeler Oscar Albert and Gustav Bass and the late Claire Taylor. Special nephew of Mary Pohlig and Elizabeth Rever; also survived by numerous nieces nephews cousins and friends. 
Viewing TUES. 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. in The McGUINNESS WASHINGTON TWP. FUNERAL HOME 573 Egg Harbor Rd. Sewell NJ. Funeral service TUES. 11:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Interment private. 
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Roy's honor to Saint Martin's Ministries 14259 Benedictine Lane Ridgely MD 21660.
