Curt Sonak, of Voorhees, NJ, passed away in January of 1993 at the age of 37. He is survived by his brothers and sisters. He is preceeded in death by his mother, Venerva.

Connie Klotz (Clark) (1974)
Curt was my neighbor and my very first friend. His Mom and mine were good friends and when my Mom saw him when he was newborn, decided she wanted one more baby. So because of him, I am here. We did so much together, they had the first in ground pool that his Dad built, and his Mom taught me and my brothers and sister to swim. Later they had a professional one built. Curt, Gale and I did everything together. After high school he became a lawyer in Philadelphia and had a good life. He died too young. I will remember him always.Gale Lederer (Sayers) (1974)
Like Connie, I knew Curt from childhood. He was always so sweet. I can still picture him with his curly hair & his dog Shane. I remember thinking he was rich because he was the only person I knew that had a built in pool. I was saddened to hear of his passing, a loss of such a gentle soul. Curt and I went to the ORSHS Junior Prom together. From what I heard from several of his former classmates, Curt died from AIDS, as did our mutural friend, Marty Berger(Class of 73) around the same year. I dated Marty all through HS and we went to the Junor Ring Dance. RIP, Curt, I miss you and Marty and I hope you are both in a better place.Your friend, Barbara (Grossmann) Behan
