Rest in Peace, Mrs. Wissman
On September 4, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Herman L. Wissman. Devoted daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Maguire. Survived by her sisters Patricia M. Fitzgerald (Robert) of Medford, Margaret M. Groce (Al), sister-in-law Marian Wissman, cousins Frances M. Ascoli and John Maguire, nieces Deborah F. Correll (Frank) and Caryn K. Groce, nephews Patrick Fitzgerald (Wendy) and Marshall M. Groce, great nieces Elizabeth and Clare and great nephew Jack.
Marilyn was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School and Rutgers University in Camden and received her Master's degree from Rowan University (Glassboro State College). She retired as Guidance Director from Edgewood Regional High School in Winslow Twp. Marilyn and her late husband Herman summered in Ocean City, were theatre goers and were generous Rutgers supporters. They traveled extensively, but their favorite destination was New York City.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation 10-11am Friday, September 12, 2014 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am Friday at St. Joan of Arc, followed by inurnment at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
