Coach Larry..Wow...what a guy. So very dedicated. The epitome of teamwork, perseverance and school spirit. When he was in the hospital, before he passed away, I called him. He was unable to speak to me...but I did speak with his brother, Paul. I asked Mr. Mauriello, to relay my thoughts and prayers to Coach Larry. He did so, right then. Coach Larry said he remembered me. His contribution to ORHS, will never be forgotten.

Coach Larry was the best of all the rest. The Mauriello Brothers coached champion football teams. and lived next to each other in the Cedarbrook area of Winslow Twp. And what beautiful homes they have! I didn't play sports so I didn't get to know either of them on a personal basis, but I do not forget the cheering on and screaming that we did in the stands as our Rams won week after week. R.I.P Coach Larry. You are with the angels now.

Beside my dad, Coach Mauriello had the biggest influence on my life.  I loved him and played my heart out on the football field.  To this day I live by some of the principles he taught me.  I can never forget him.  RIP Coach Larry !
