Gail A. Colavita (née Mari), 76, of Williamstown, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on September 17, 2025, at a rehabilitation facility in Sewell due to pulmonary complications.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Joann Mari, whom she missed dearly throughout her life; her parents, James and Noreen; her loving husband of 53 years, Joseph M. Colavita; and her grandson, Anthony.
Gail was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on January 9, 1949, and grew up in Pine Hill, New Jersey. She graduated from Overbrook Senior High School, Class of 1968, and later took great pride in working as a classroom aide at Monroe Township Public Schools and St. Mary’s School in Williamstown, New Jersey. She was a member of the Cecil Fire Company in Monroe Township, where she volunteered with the ambulance squad.
She loved her dog, Patches; playing bingo; and creating crafts such as flower arrangements and macramé. Gail also found great joy in performing in the choir at Saint Mary’s, Our Lady of Peace Parish, and held her religious community close to her heart.
Gail and her husband, Joe, were always there to support family and friends in any way they could. Their door was always open, and a fresh pot of coffee was always on. Most importantly, and above all else, Gail loved her family deeply. Although she couldn’t always be present, she cherished engaging in conversations with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren about their lives and activities. Her face often lit up when seeing her loved ones walk into the room.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that Gail is resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord and reunited with her beloved Joe.
