Rest in Peace, Joe        

VARNA - Joseph H. Morrison, age 64, of Varna, Ill., passed away at 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 7, 1949, in Clementon, N.J., to Clifford and Louise Morrison. He married Deborah Hornick on June 26, 1971, in Clementon, N.J., and she passed away Oct. 4, 2013.

Surviving are his children, Shannon Erdmann of Peoria, Shane (Katie) Morrison of Metamora and Ryan (Molly) Morrison of Washington; and seven grandchildren.

Joseph served in the U.S. Army as a crew chief, doing two tours during the Vietnam War, and was a flight inspector for Sikorsky Aircraft.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel, with Father Steve Willard officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society .
