Rest in Peace, Janis

Janis Wagner Truelsen passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 67, while living in Morgan Hill, CA. Survived By: Sister, Carole Wagner Vallianos ( Peter) Nieces, Kelly Vallianos, Jamie Vallianos; Nephew, Denis Vallianos; great niece, Eleni Vallianos; great nephews, Peter and Noa Vallianos, Liam, Logan, and Drew Vallianos-Healy. Step-daughter, Debie Woodward. Her husband, Lance Truelsen passed away two weeks before Janis.

Janis moved to Calif to be near her sister in 1982 where she met her husband, Lance Truelsen, who pre-deceased her. They moved to northern Calif, but Lance was transferred to England. Janis took classes at the Inchbald School of Design there where she studied interior design—her passion! They also lived in Setauket, NY before returning to California. Another passion was her dog, Chopper, a mixed breed chihuahua. She and Lance were instrumental in establishing a dog park in their Morgan Hill, Calif community.
