William Roach - Class Of 1965

William (Bill) E. Roach
April 5, 1946 - December 19, 2014

Bill was born in Erie Pa. and moved to Pine Hill, NJ when he was about 7 years old. He went to Overbrook Regional High School and from there joined the Army to serve in Viet Nam. He was proud to be a “Redcatcher”, a member of the prestigious C 3/7 199th Infantry Brigade. After returning from Viet Nam he worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass in Berlin, NJ. After about 6 years he left NJ and moved to Glendale, AZ where ...he married and raised his family. He worked for Entz White and then formed his own company Phoenix Custom Shutters and Cabinetry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Roach and Lorraine (Creelman) Roach and his sister, Anna Knoll. He is survived by his wife, Loretta (Perno) Roach; daughter Nicole Dees, husband Andrew; son Robert (Bobby) Roach and brother-in-law Jimmy Knoll. Grandfather to Ashlynn and Kaydence Roach, and Haleigh and Hannah Dees. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless other family members and friends.

Services will be held February 6, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. http://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/nmca.asp
