Rest in Peace, Albert

Albert Michael Koch, 45, passed away suddenly on December 20, 2014. Al was born on December 6, 1969 in Camden, NJ and grew up in Clementon, NJ where he attended Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, NJ. After high school, Al joined the Navy. After serving in the Navy, he obtained his CDL license until joining Verizon in 1996. Al married Jennifer Koch (nee Fritz) in June 2000 in Audubon, NJ. Al was a devoted, loyal and proud husband, father, brother, friend, and coach. He was a competitive person who strived for excellence in everything he did, while providing others with the motivation they needed to succeed. Al loved coaching his daughters’ lacrosse teams, participating in martial arts, taking day trips, family movie nights and family vacations to Disney World. Al loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, taking his dogs (Maximus and Gatti) to the beach and dog park, hiking through the nature trails with his girls and dogs. Al was a history buff and enjoyed spending time listening to stories from the older generations he would meet. Some of Al’s most treasured moments were times spent with his brother Frank and his sister in law Cindy celebrating holidays or relaxing outside during parties and get- togethers. Al was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica Koch (nee Egli). Al is survived by his wife, Jennifer Koch and three loving daughters Ashley, Victoria and Kayla. Al is also survived by his brother James Koch (Beth) of Highland, MI; Frank Koch (Cindy) of Clementon, NJ and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. A visitation will be held at Kinght Funeral Home on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 9:30am – 11:30am. Memorial Service will be at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Memorial Fund for the benefit of the children of Albert Koch - TD Bank, 129 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078.
