Stephen Lee Gorney, age 54, of Crystal River, FL, was found deceased on April 28, 2015 at his home. He was born Sept. 5, 1960, in Camden, New Jersey, to Robert and Jean Ellen (Magill) Gorney. Stephen was a self-employed painter. He moved to Citrus County 23 years ago from Pine Hill, New Jersey.
In addition to his parents, Stephen is survived by his brother Alan Gorney and sister-in-law Alice; his sister Valerie McKinney and brother-in-law Jerry; two nephews, Wade Gorney and Nicholas McKinney; numerous cousins; and other extended family.
Private cremation will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, FL.
