Rest in Peace, Catherine

Catherine "Cassie" Mattson (nee McCollum) 71 of Glassboro passed away suddenly on November 8th 2013. Cassie was a 1964 graduate of Glassboro State (Rowan), where she also earned her Masters Degree in English. Cassie taught at Overbrook Regional HS for 25 years before retiring in 1995. Cassie was an avid reader and enjoyed many activities, especially the beach in Brigantine, antiquing, entertaining, and cooking for family and friends. Cassie will be sadly missed by her husband of 48 years Charlie, daughter Alison of Pitman, son Drew of Glassboro, and grand-daughter Kendall of Pitman. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family at 10:30AM on Thursday November 14, 2013 at the Church of St Bridget, 125 Church St Glassboro NJ 08028. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 AM.
