Charles Hutchison

Gloucester Twp. - Charles "Chip" Philip Hutchison, age 51, of Gloucester Twp., NJ passed away on December 28, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Chip was born in Clifton, NJ on April 20, 1966 to Thomas Hutchison Sr. and June McBride.

At a young age he and his siblings moved to Camden County where he attended Overbrook Regional High School excelling in football and wrestling. Chip went on to graduate from Frankford school of nursing with a dual nursing certificate and associates degree from Penn State and obtained his BSN from Jefferson University. With a kind heart and love for helping others, Chip found his calling in nursing and worked for Ancora Psychiatric Hospital for the past 15 years where he made many friends and impacted countless patients.

Those that knew Chip were amused by his stubbornness and amazed by his graciousness. Chip loved watching old movies and football, listening to Dean Martin and the rest of the "Rat Pack", boating and spending time with family.

He is survived by his children, Thomas Joseph, Danielle Alissa and their mother Connie Hutchison, father; Thomas Hutchison Sr. and his wife Jacqueline Hutchison, mother; June McBride, siblings and their spouses; Tom Hutchison Jr. and companion Catherine Short, Dan and Karen Hutchison, Kathy and Tony Campbell, Kelly Hutchison and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Funeral Manor, 1585 Hider Lane, Gloucester Twp., NJ 08021. On Wednesday, January 3, there will be visitation 

from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 at The Funeral Manor. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. For condolences, please visit thefuner almanor.com.
