Rest in Peace, Eddie

Edward Joseph Lane Jr, age 51, of Lindenwold, succumbed to injury from a motor vehicle accident on Dec 13, 2019. Survived by his children; Mercedes, Sabrina, Aaron and Avory. Brother of Belinda, Vennise, Lamont, Zachery, Cyrus, Ellen, Jason, Daniel and the Late Ann. Grandfather of Alana and Josiyah. Son of Edward (May) Lane Sr and Robin Holbrook. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Eddie was born June 13, 1968 in Philadelphia, PA. When he was 6 years old he moved to Voorhees, NJ than later moved to Lindenwold, NJ where he graduated from Overbrook High School in '86. Eddie excelled in everything that he set his mind to from dancing, martial arts even drag racing. At the age of 6, his father introduced him to riding. He became mechanically inclined and went on to win a multitude of races along the east coast. Following in his Father's footsteps, Eddie developed a passion for the intricacy of plumbing, later going on to help run the family business for over 30 years, earning his skill as a plumbing contractor. Eddie really loved his children, he worked hard and still made time for his family. Eddie had a way of walking in a room full of people and catching everyone's attention. He had a smile and charm that you couldn't resist. He was such a comedian, all he had to do was a little dance move with one of his goofy laughs and you'd be crying in laughter. Eddie had a genuine, golden soul, he touched the lives of many people, in the words of his beloved Mother, "he was a million dollar man".
