John Joseph Romer

April 12, 1963 - January 15, 2022

Age 58– Clementon

On January 15, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of Deborah Lynn (Knisell) Romer. Beloved father of Matthew (Deanna) Gramkowski, Michelle (Andrew) Finch and John J. Romer Jr (“JJ”). Also survived by 4 grandchildren Hailey Gramkowski, Madison Twyford, Grayson Finch, Alivia Finch, sister Caroline Ruiz and many loving nieces, nephews and other loving family members. John was a United States Navy Disabled Veteran. He was a former member of the Pine Hill American Legion and the Clementon VFW. He served on the local school board and coached baseball in Clementon, Berlin Twp., and Lindenwold. He enjoyed model railroading, photography and family outings to geocache. John liked to travel, especially to Disney. Mickey Mouse was his favorite character. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday January 24, 2022 from 11am to 12:30pm followed by funeral services 12:30pm at the: ORA L. WOOSTER FUNERAL HOME, 51 Park Blvd., Clementon, NJ 08021. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Erial Cemetery.
