Rest in Peace, Deanna

Port St. Lucie – Deanna Lee Wright, 77, of 447 SE Asbury Ln, died peacefully Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Palm Garden nursing home.

She was born in New Jersey to James and Ellen Briggs (deceased). She moved to Miami with her sister Bette Elliott (deceased) and then to Port St. Lucie in 1981 with her husband, Robert Lee Wright, Sr. (deceased), and children, Joseph Pierson Jr., Tammy (Pierson) Schwerin, and Robert Lee Wright, Jr.

Deanna was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her love for her family and Jesus will carry on in our hearts forever. She loved to dance to the oldies, play games with anyone who would play, lottery scratch-offs and BINGO! She was a caretaker at heart and helped raise her grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her children, Joseph Pierson, Jr. (Sheryl); Tammy Schwerin (Donald); Robert Wright, Jr. all residing in Port St. Lucie; Grandchildren; Jennifer Tomlinson of Stuart, Joseph Pierson, III of Port St. Lucie; James Coffing, Jr. (Nima) of Port St. Lucie; Bradley Smith of Port St. Lucie; Robert Schwerin of Port St. Lucie; Great Grandchildren; Tannon Tomlinson (10); Easton Tomlinson (8); Cora Coffing (2); brother, Charles Briggs (Darlene) of New Jersey; Sisters, Joan Cassidy (Bill) of Virginia; twin Donna McCouch (Tom) of New Jersey.

A memorial will be held on June 6 at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie. Family and friends may visit from 10 to 11:15 am. A graveside burial service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Rd., Palm City, FL.

Family and friends are welcome to join the procession to Forest Hills.
