Rest in Peace, Karen
Karen Dorothy Conner
October 1, 1943 ~ January 31, 2022
Karen Dorothy Conner, nee Stiles, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, 78 years young, entered the presence of her Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Karen was born on October 1, 1943 in Camden, New Jersey to the late William and Katherine Stiles. She was a 1962 graduate of Overbook High School. She met her husband Jimmy, at Weber’s Drive-in. The couple was married in 1965 in Laurel Springs, NJ.
Karen and Jimmy raised their two daughters Jennifer and Tricia in Tabernacle, New Jersey and lived the last 34 years in Shamong, New Jersey. Karen spent many years volunteering her time in the PTA and coaching her daughters’ sports teams. Over the years Karen enjoyed traveling, boating, golfing, and vacationing at the Jersey shore. She loved relaxing on the beach with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid collector of seashells!
Possessing a true selfless heart, Karen faithfully cared for her family and friends through delicious cooking, elaborate decorating and endless entertaining. If ever there was a party to be planned or a meal to be prepared, Karen was exceeding expectations and blessing others with her creativity. She loved creating beauty and meaning through mixed media art. She celebrated each of her grandchildren through designing scrapbooks and pictures with her unique decorative flair. Throughout her life she blessed all who knew her with exquisitely wrapped gifts, but more so with her compassion and love.
She was beyond influential in the lives of her grandchildren. Her passion to share her story, her wisdom, and her many dreams will be with them for the rest of their lives. She lived to instill God’s wisdom and truth into the hearts of her grandchildren. Her zest for life and infectious laugh will be greatly missed.
Karen loved reading God’s word and sharing His promises with the world. Karen spent her most recent years praying for and with her family, friends and strangers. She wanted everyone to experience God’s love, healing and freedom.
Psalm 71:16-18 TPT
“I will come forth in your mighty strength, O my Lord God. I’ll tell everyone that you alone are the perfect one. From my childhood you’ve been my teacher, and I’m still telling everyone of your miracle-wonders! God, now that I’m old and gray, don’t walk away. Give me grace to demonstrate to the next generation all your mighty miracles and your excitement, to show them your magnificent power!”
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James; daughters, Jennifer (David) and Tricia (Kenneth); and her adoring grandchildren, Conner (Ashley), Cameron (Nicole), Riley, Lucy, Dylan, Yorke, Abigail, Madeline, Lillian, Jordan, Caroline, Caitlin, Kenneth, Colleen, and her great-grandchild, Levi and a host of friends and relatives. She is predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Archibald and her parents, William and Katherine Stiles.
Friends and Family are invited to attend A Celebration of Life service at noon Friday April 8th, 2022 at Marlton Assembly of God, 625 E. Main St, Marlton, NJ 08053. Doors will open for visitation at 11am. Karen’s son-in-law, Pastor David Smith will officiate the service. A luncheon reception will be held following the service. May you be at peace Karen. God bless. I will never forget our close
group of friends in our '62 Class, and the fun we had at all the Pajama
parties as well as class trips. Hope we meet again in the next life.

I will always remember Karen as a cheerleader in the gym cheering
for our basketball team to get a win,
