William G. Pufta

July 14, 1946 - February 4, 2022

William G. Pufta, age 75 passed away peacefully on February 4, 2022 after a happy life spent with his wife, children and friends. Born in Camden, NJ, he lived in Pine Hill and Berlin, NJ and graduated from Overbrook High School. He was the long-time Plant Manager at Dynasil Fused Silica in West Berlin, NJ until retiring. He was drafted by the United States Armed Forces in 1966 and served in the United States Marine Corps until 1968.

William is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Diane Pufta (Forbes), brother Joseph Pufta and his loving nieces, nephews, grandson Clay and preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Anna and his sons Michael (Tammy) and Joseph.

He loved boating, fishing, crabbing and spending time at the Atlantic City casinos. He was known for his sense of humor and zest for life and never missed an opportunity to visit Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA or the casinos in Las Vegas, NV. His greatest achievement in life was being the best husband to Diane and father to his two boys.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A prayer service will follow at 6:30 pm.
