It is with deep sorrow that I notify you of the passing of Dottie Egan Serzega on July 15, 2020, her 70th birthday. She was pre-deceased by her husband, and our sweetheart, Jerry, many years ago.  Dottie was a sweet, kind, and beautiful soul. Rest in peace dear sister.

Peacefully, on her 70th birthday, July 15, 2020. Daughter of the late Joseph A. and Josephine (Dempsey) Egan. Wife of the late Gerard "Jerry" Serzega; loving mother of Laura (Matt) Ragan, Jerry (Erin) Serzega, and the late Judy Serzega; sister of Joseph A. (Aileen) Egan, Ellen Egan, Peggy (Al) Jamiolkowski, and the late Thomas Egan; very proud grandmother of Claire, Colin, and Jack Ragan; sister-in-law of Linda Egan and Marian Ries; niece of Neil McNeill; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Private family visitations were held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SZAFRANSKI-EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Ss. Simon and Jude Church. Dottie was always the glass half full person in the room. A very devout Catholic, strong in her faith, praying novenas daily. Burial in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
