Kathleen Allen Royer passed away 11-19-2025 and was born 3-13-1941. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA.
Katheleen attended St. Bermard's Grammar School in Pittsburgh and later Mt. Lebanon High School in Mt. Lebanon, Pa. At just 15 years old she met her future husband, Ddave Royer, at a local Movie theater-- a chance meeting that blossomed indto a lifelong love story. They were married on 6-6-1964. They started their careers in Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh and then moved to Michigan where they spent the rest of their life.

Kathleen and I were good friends from grade school days at St. Bernard grade school. I spent many overnights at her house as we grew up. I'll always remember the first day of school at Mt. Lebanon HS when she spotted David in my homeroom, and thought he was very handsome! We all went to the movies that weekend, and somehow they ended up sitting together. The rest was history! I remember her for the positive, fun-loving friend she was to everyone she met. David, you are in my prayers. Irene Beitler Kennedy
Mary Ann Wiedt (Wellener)
A group of us walked home from the high school and stopped at the drug store (Rexall?) near Cedar Blvd and Washington Road where we ordered cherry cokes and smoked cigarettes. Kathleen and Dave were often a couple of kids in the group. We reconnected at one of the reunions and Kathleen was as beautiful and sparklng as ever. I am so very sorry for her family's loss.
