Richard J. Nolan

Richard J. Nolan (wife, Mary Ann) was born 6-19-1941 in Hoboken, NJ and died after emergency surgery on 2-12-2011, in Wilmington, DE.  He was active with the Special Olympics, the ARC of Deleware, and The Little Sisters of the Poor. He lived in Pittsburgh until he went off to college at Saint Bonaventure University where he graduated in 1963.

His 1st job was with Pittsburgh Plate Glass as an auditor.  In 1966 he joined Manufacturers Hanover Trust in New York and lived with his family in Glen Rock, NJ.  He continued with the same company in Deleware in 1983.  When Manufacturers Hanover Trust merged with Chase Manhattan and Chemical Bank, he became President and Chief Executive Officer of Chase Manhattan Bank of Deleware.

Upon retirement, Dick did volunteer work for numerous agencies.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann, (6) children, (4) grandchildren and one sister. His four grandchildren were the source of his greatest joy.

His funeral and burial was in Wilmington, DE.
