Robert Peterson

Robert "Bob" N. Peterson passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 7, 2024, in Grand Rapids, MI.  Born 12-1-1941, in Moline, IL.

Bob led a fulfilling life dedicated to his family and career.

He grew up in Mt. Lebanon, PA. where he graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School.  His upbringing and service in the Army developed in him a strong sense of integrity and hard work values that guided him throughout his life.

Bob earned his bachelor's degree in Business & Economics Management from Lehigh University, class of 1966, and went on to achieve a Master's in Business Administration from Indiana University Purdue University in Fort Wayne, IN.

On March 9, 1968, Bob married the love of his life, Beverly Ann Johnson.  The two of them raised four children, traveled the country, living in seven states, and two countries.  After retirement, they moved to Eufaula, AL to be near grandchildren and enjoy lake life.

Outside of his professional life, Bob was an active community member.  He coached softball and baseball in Pittsburgh, PA.

Bob's life philosophy centered around integrity and honesty.  He believed in the importance of keeping one's word and exemplified deep, sincere listening.  He disdained dishonesty and showboating, teaching family the true meaning of respect and commitment through his actions and words.

With all his affairs settled and family cared for, Bob passed away in the bed he shared with his beloved wife, the same bed he kissed her goodbye for the last time.

Bob was cremated in Panama City Beach, FL.
