John P. "Jack" Spicuzza

A lifelong resident of Mt. Lebanon, Jack passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday evening, July 24, 2013.  Born July 6, 1941, son of the late John and Veronica Spicuzza, beloved husband for over 49 years of Lucia Cicchino Spicuzza; loving father of Theresa West, John P., David S., and Donna Garabo; proud papa and teacher of life lessons to eleven grandchildren.  Jack served the community of Mt. Lebanon as a volunteer fireman for 30 years, and as a respected baseball and softball coach.  His professional career as a research chemist and industry pioneer spanned nearly forty years with Sinclair, Koppers, Arco Chemical and JSP International, earning much respect for his accomplishments.  Jack will be sadly missed but infinitely celebrated by his family for his faith, selflessness, generosity, and his love.  "Everything for the family."  Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Anne Church, Saturday, July 27, followed by entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  Send condolences at:  post-gazette.com/gb
