George C. Wilmot Jr., 84, of Mont Clare, PA, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024. He was born on March 4, 1940 in Narberth, PA. He was the beloved son of George C. and Margaret Louise Wilmot. He attended Mount Lebanon High School, Class of 1959, in Mount Lebanon, PA.
George dedicated 36 years of his career (1965-2001) to serving in the Tredyffrin-Easttown Townships. After retiring from township duties, he continued to work at the Paoli Acme Markets until 2020. In his later years, he lived in Jacksonville, FL, and Greensboro, NC (2002-2006) before returning to Paoli, PA, where he resumed his work at Acme until his second retirement.
Known for his love of the outdoors, George found joy in fishing and chopping wood, passions that reflected his appreciation for nature and simple pleasures.
George spent his final years living with his brother, Chuck, in Mont Clare, PA, where their bond remained steadfast. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and love for life will be cherished by all who knew him.
