Robert "Bob" Joseph haines, 83, of Beckley, WV passed away on April 29, 2024.  he was born on 1-7-1941 in Chester, PA.  Bob will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his warm smile, generous heart, and witty sense of humor.

A Veteran of the Army, bob served his country with honor.  He had a successful career in sales and as an entrepreneur.  He had a passion for flying and loved spending time with his family.

Bob is survived by the love of his life, wife of 60 years, Delores J. Haines, his son, Robert J. Haines, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Karen M. K. Haines, his grandson Nathan Utt Haines, Nathan's mother, Terra J. Utt, his sister, Marguerite A. Webb, his sister-in-law, Donna Haines, and thirteen nieces and nephews.  Bob was preceded in death by his son, Shawn D. Haines, his parents Charles K. Haines and Margaret M. Adams Haines, his sister Elaine M. Williams, and his brother Charles W. Haines.

A visitation will be Held on Sunday, May 12th. 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3 PM, followed by a private funeral service at Melton Mortuary Center.  Expressions sympathy and condolences may be offered to the family by visiting --www.hospiceofsouthernwv.org   in memory of Robert J. Haines.
