I met Ralph over christmas break in '79. His little sister Emily class of '82 and my sister Julie class of '82 were friends. We would visit everytime I was back in the 'burgh. I still see his parents Peggy and John when I'm in town.

He went to RIT in New York. I remember talking to him on the phone in November of '81, while he had been out in the snow, and I had been waterskiing. I was in Austin. He was also at my wedding in '82. He was a good person who tried to do the right things. It was very saddening to hear that he died in '86. He is missed.

Frank (went by Ralph) and I were buddies in Mrs. Daubner's 10th grade Geometry class. We always would read Road & Track, Motor Trend, Hot Rod and Car and Driver. We used to enjoy comparing cars and fast cars and dream about what it would be like when we had cars. It was a lot of fun. Ralph's favorite car was the Maserati Countach. It went 200+ mph and Ralph could tell you all about it. Ralph also played tenor sax in marching band. He was a good friend.
