There are so many good and fun memories I have with Jerry, too many to recount here.  He was one of the core people in my circle of friends growing up and he will never be forgotten.  I'll be back in this space at some point to post photos that are archived....somewhere!  Jerry was one of the good guys, and he was loved.  Lord, let perpetual light shine upon him and may he rest in peace.

I am so sad to hear the news of Jerry's passing.  We were very close in high school and even into our 20s.  I have great memories of spending time at each other's homes, traveling with him to Uniontown, Washington, DC, and others places not too far from Pittsburgh.  Sadly, as our we advanced toward our 30s and then started our families, I moved across the country and we drifted apart.  Through this website we did communicate some and talked about getting together when I made it back to Pittsburgh, but unfortunately it never happened (and I will take the blame for that).  Our last connection was when he sent me the most thoughtful note when my father passed away a few years ago.  He was a great guy and even though we had not talked recently, I find my self missing him terribly right now.  So, if there is a lesson here.......... it is to take the time to reach out to those that we love before it is too late.  Jerry, aka "Jake",...may you rest in peace in God's hands.
