I have very fond memories of Bruce and our days at Lincoln School. We survived Mr.Duda's sixth grade together, and I always appreciated Bruce's wit and humor. All I recall about seventh grade social studies at Jefferson Junior High was passing notes with Bruce, back and forth, all through that class. I am sure I did not learn a thing that year in social studies, except in relation to Bruce. Betty Rae Gray got very annoyed with us for never paying attention to the teacher, but we all felt she was sooooo boring! Bruce always had a smile and a good sarcastic comment to share- he always made me smile too. He really had a heart of gold and was a very kind, gentle soul. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, but I'm happy he was doing what he loved best.
