To clarify, Lee and his brother David started from scratch and owned Little Nippers. There were two parlors, one on Beverly Road and one in Baldwin(?). Lee learned the pizza business working at the pizza parlor on Castle Shannon Blvd near Scott Rd. Little Nipper was David's nickname. They sold the pizza business in 2001.

Lee and I grew up together, starting as wee kids across Main Entrance Dr from each other. We were tight for 20 years, even while he attended Duquesne Univ. and I was at Pitt. After Pitt, I left the Pgh area. Initially Lee and I kept in touch but time, distance, careers and families got in the way and he and I lost touch.

Recently, this Mt. Lebo 78 site put Lee and I back in touch. After almost 40 years apart, I found Lee to be the same friendly, honest and compassionate person he always was. I was really enjoying hearing from him again. Then suddenly he was gone.
