I am truly saddened by Sandy'spassing. She was good friend, and a genuine professional as a teacher working with Pre School kids at the Pittsbrugh JCC. I will miss her smile, positive attitude, and the myriad of her students who have now grown from toddler to teens will remember her fondly!
I remember Sandie very well from Minadeo and Allderdice. I am so sorry to hear that she has died. She was a lovely, fun and sweet friend always. My sympathy to her family.
Sandie was always smiling and I never heard a nasty word come out of her mouth. Many people have mentioned how great she was with the little ones at the JCC. I know she adored her kids and grandkids. I've known Sandie since we were kids. I remember being at her house on Beechwood. It was always a treat to run into her over the years. She will be missed.
