Sandy sat next to me, as we were seated alphabetically in homeroom 352, so it's safe to say that he was the FIRST Allderdice student I met when I arrived as a tenth grader in September 1964. Our friendship lasted for years, into our days at CCAC. Sandy often rode me home, meaning I could save the bus fare and MAYBE even eat in the CCAC cafeteria the next day! (Those were lean years).
Sandy and I usually saw each other in the Greenfield Giant Eagle. I miss him. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
