I am very sad to learn about the passing of Darlyn. She and I were good friends throughout our years at Allderdice. We stayed in touch during our adult life by exchanging annual holiday cards and letters and catching up during reunion events.

While we were not close friends in high school, whenever we did come together in class or just walking in the hallways, she always offered a friendly greeting and pleasant conversation.
