Michael was my very first crush in grade school. I believe we went to some 4th or 5th grade party together and have such fond memories of him throughout our Allderdice years.  I was so sorry to hear about this loss of life. I'm sure he was a wonderful Dr, husband, father and grandfather and send my sincere condolences to Nancy and his family.

Michael was a good friend and great guy. I was very saddened by the news of his passing. Michael had a wonderful sense of humor, and  I can distinctly remember his smile and laugh. Everone liked him. I remember him fondly.  Best regards and my sincere condolences to Nancy and the rest of his family. May his memory be for a blessing. BDE.

Michael and I were friends since second grade at Minadeo.  I have very fond memories of him from grade school and high school.  The last time I saw him was at our 50th class reunion.  My sincere condolences to Nancy and the family.  Michael will be mised by many.

I have known Michael since 2nd grade at Minadeo.  We seemed to be in the same class every year and definitely were good and special friends.  I always looked forward to chatting with him at reunions and to meeting Nancy.  This is a big loss to his family, friends and the many communities of folks who knew him.  So sad--a sweet and great guy.

As others have said, I am sad to hear about Michael's passing.  A good friend from Minadeo through high school.  Always brightened up my day at Allderidce.  May his memory be a blessing.

I was saddened to hear of Michael Mallinger's passing.  We were classmates since Minadeo opened.   Always a mensch, kind and competent.  From another Michael, my sympathies to his family.

i didn't meet Mike until Allderdice but he left a lasting impression. We played a weekly poker game in high school and even then I could tell that Mike had a sense of compassion and maturity that so many of us lacked. He always had time to listen and i remember his constant smile. My condolences to Nancy and the rest of his family. He will be sorely missed. Chuck

I join in sharing all the good memories of Michael expressed. I was sorry to learn of his passing. We knew one another beginning as Minadeo classmates.  I will always think of him as a really nice and kind guy. My sincere condolences to his family.

No words could ever truly express who Michael was to me. I met him just after his father died. My father became a father to him, and he became a brother to me. He pretty much lived at my house. We grew from adolescence to adulthood ( if indeed we ever really did become adults) together. We learned of life together. Learned to drive together. We sang and played in muscic groups together. He was and always will remain a part of my heart and soul. When he passed a part of my soul passed with him, and he will remain a part of me until my time comes. I talked with him a week or so before we lost him. His last words to me were "I love you man." And I replied "I love you too."

The world needs more Micheal Mallingers!
