KRATT (Kratkoruky) Daniel P., on Sat., March 13, 1993, of Whitehall, husband of Gail A. Kratt; father of Corey and Callie Kratt; son of Jeffrey A. Kratt and the late Helen Kratt; brother of Helen (Chookey) Jones, Mildred Lober, Virginia Schorr, Jeff Kratt, Rose Ann Kratt, John & Joe Kratt and Patricia Holmes. Friends received in the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood, Mon. & Tues. from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Prayer Wed. morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Church at 10 AM. If desired the family will accept contributions on Danny's behalf.

Danny & I were in Mts Powney's 8th grade home room. How's that for going back in time! Each year the home rooms would put on a skit. Ours was a version of the Dating Game and Danny was a key cast member. I believe we won. I didn't see Danny again unitil 1977 as I was passing through my parent's home on my way to a Navy school. He had started a window replasment business and moved in across from my parent's house on Oakridge Drive and my Mom spoke with him often. When I re-met him, his recollection was as if we had been life long friends and he recalled severfal of our '71 classmates with very nice stories. And he was quite friendly and humorous. He had built his company up to 3-4 installation teams, but found that if he wasn't onsite the quality was poor, so he down sized back to one team. While I thought he was a bit scary in school he really was a nice guy and loving husband and father. He always worried about taking care of himself and family as he had only one lung, even in school.
