Jim, what a great guy, and good friend. I think of him every time I drive down Clover and pass the road that leads to his house. Now 40 some odd years later I still think of him when I pass that road.... I guess thats the kind of effect he had on people.
I remember driving around in that old International Harvester he had.
Jim was the first class mate to die... giving me a little perspective (wisdom) into life. And now it looks many more have passed since our last reunion... so sad.
Man, I miss this guy. He surprised me with a visit when I was in school at Stephen F. Austin State Univ. (Nacogdoches, TX) in 1975. Jim arrived on his (as I remember it, but perhaps my memory exaggerates?) huge motorcycle. The years fell away as we talked the whole night through. I always felt challenged by Jim's keen insight and intelligence, but he was also very funny. Who remembers Easter Snake?

Love you, Jim. We will meet again, I am so sure.
