Joe was diagnosed with Non Hogdkins Lymphoma (I belive in 1998) after he and I discovered a discoloration on his left leg. A bone scan was done, to prove it was a tumor and then followed by a biopsy. It was a long hard battle for Joe, but he remained strong for the first three years of his battle. He was so big and strong it was hard for some people to belive he was so sick. The last year (the year of our planned wedding) proved to much for him to bear. In late August he told me he felt as though he wasn't going to make it. September 30, he went into ICU and never came home. He passed on October 23, a Wednesday afternoon. Rest in peace my love..........I miss you everyday..........

What a Loss, Julie I feel for you. . . Joe was a great man. You both made such an awesome couple, I remeber always playing baseball w/ Joe and Volleyball w/ Lynn, making you laugh out loud in class. I could not believe it when I saw that he had passed. You are definitely right about his being strong. I hope you are doing fine keep your head up he is a far greater place than here I'm sure. I somewhat know what you are going through from having to go through it with my father.
